Pat obtained her BFA in Advertising Art from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. Since then she has worked for a television station, a typesetting firm, and an embroidery design company.
With her founding partner, Tim Vack, she created the design firm Com-cepts in Seattle in 1988. Com-cepts provided computer aided design programs to garment and ad specialty companies to create embroidered designs on their products. Clients included Nike, Reebok, Nordstrom's, Cutter & Buck, Lincoln Enterprises (Star Trek merchandise), and others. Pat was also a contributing writer to Stitches Magazine. She left Com-cepts in 1993. Pat continues to create digital art, watercolor & acrylic paintings, & graphic designs.
